- I bought a 90 days PlayStation Plus membership for 115 DKK, which landed me this game and a bunch of others. Since I tried the intro sequence on the office PS3 in MegaMedia, Cairo, I've been fascinated by this hybrid genre game - a post-apocalyptic arcade racer. The only previous example of this genre I can think of, is Nitro for the Amiga, which I used to play a lot.
- The intro was less impressive without the element of surprise...
- ... And now to skip all the crappy motion comic cutscenes.
- Yeah, drum 'n bass!
- Noisia on the soundtrack. Perfect.
- Split Second had player-controlled track destruction, MS:A has a constant chaos of everything falling to pieces around you. Very it not for the unpleasant car controls, this would be an awesome experience.
- I really dislike the Sixaxis triggers, and with the sluggishnes of the cars in MS:A, I decided for something simple: D-pad for steering, X and square for throttle.
- Completed Rookie Chapter (1/3).
- Completed Pro Chapter day one.
- Argh, driving fragile light vehicles in the same apocalyptic death race as trucks and monster trucks, is not a great experience...
- Completed Pro Chapter (2/3).
- Completed Pro Chapter day one.
- Driving upside down in round sewer tunnels in a muscle car feels a bit Rollcagey... :)
- Super cars, muscle cars, monster cars feel OK to drive. Minis, buggys, and bikes are awful.
- Completed the game (Wreckreation).
